  1. If you put a 14500 AA-sized 3.7V Lithium-ion battery into an Xbox controller, you risk permanently frying the controller’s logic board.
The physical size fits, but the electrical specifications will cause serious damage.

  2. Okay, batteries with an USB-C port to chart it isn’t really new to me but…

    I have a different question…
Why is it that you only can charge a “cheap” device with it dirt cheap USB-A to USB-C cable and a 10 year old charger but not with your brand new Anker Nano “Smart” with 45W of power?!?
I tried a lot of different chargers but only the build in USB-A ports that are built in into my multi outlet extensions are actually working and charging those damn devices.
Example Temu nose hair cutter 😂
Has a USB-C port on it but won’t charge usb-c to usb-c. Same with the tiny table lamp. You know the ones they have in restaurants. Of course the fancy expensive ones are most likely getting charged no problem but the cheap ones you always need a A to C charger.
I understand why, the power that arrives at the device is to high and the device is to “dumb” to communicate with the charger.
But why are those still a thing?
Can’t be the price for that part because I’m quite confident the consumer is willing to pay the upper price for the sake of comfort.

P.S. I know my English sucks balls dry so please have mercy thank you
